Specification · Fathom Freeze v1
Fathom Freeze v1. Readiness standard for freeze peril.
This standard is in development. No records have been issued under Fathom Freeze v1. Target: 2026. The page exists so institutions can see the family roadmap and so the eventual specification has a stable home.
Fathom Freeze v1 is published under the Fathom Readiness Standards program, the family that includes Fathom Water v1 (shipped) and Fathom Storm, Fathom Fire, and Fathom Vacant (roadmap).
Scope (preview)
Fathom Freeze v1 will cover the freeze-driven loss pathways that are preventable through property-level controls: pipe freeze in conditioned and semi-conditioned spaces, sprinkler dry-system freeze-up, and vacancy-driven freeze loss in unoccupied units. It is asset-scoped and produces a single verifiable Readiness Record per asset, on the same registry as Fathom Water v1.
FreezeScore, the peril-specific composite for Freeze, will ship with the standard. There is no aggregate cross-peril "Fathom Score." Each standard carries its own score and its own band.
Family context
Fathom Readiness Standards are peril-specific by design. A property may hold a current Fathom Water v1 record without holding a Fathom Freeze v1 record, and recipients should treat the two as independent inputs.
The full program is summarized in the Program Overview PDF, available from the Institutional Toolkit.
